Bolante Massacre
UNDER ARREST. Personnel of the Office of the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms serve the Senate arrest order on Jocelyn Bolante at the lobby of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport soon after the former agriculture undersecretary, accused of engineering the P728-million fertilizer scam, returned to the country Tuesday night following his deportation from the United States. Bolante’s lawyer, Antonio Zulueta, accepted the order on behalf of his client, who was then whisked off to St. Luke’s Medical Center.
